Meet the Founder, Jen Nash Kochevar
With a mom who is an artist, I grew up in and around the art world. While I didn't always connect with the abstract artwork that I saw in galleries, I always loved my mom's artwork.
Fourteen years ago, I met local painter, Mary Pettis, who considers herself an Expressive Realist. The first time I stood in front of one of her landscape paintings, I had a profound and deeply moving experience. Mary's painting viscerally pulled me in towards it and, simultaneously, reached out and touched me. I had never felt this before and didn't quite understand what was happening.
I knew, in that very moment, I wanted to help create opportunities for others to have this experience in their life.
This was the moment JNK Art Partners began.
